Aditya Pangikal joins Reproflex3 India

Reproflex3, a leading provider of prepress services, has appointed Aditya Pangikal as business head of R3 India, the company’s operation supporting the packaging industry across India and key emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

R3 India is a sister organisation to R3 Middle East and Africa and forms an integral part of the global Reproflex3 Group.

Pangikal brings more than three decades of expertise in prepress and print, having held senior leadership roles with major multinationals in premedia and the print industry, working closely with global brands including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, Mondelēz and Ferrero Rocher.

In a previous role as operations director, he built and led a large offshore production centre, with responsibility for more 700 staff, and later served as managing director for a global brand development agency in Mauritius, gaining extensive experience of managing teams across diverse, fast-growing markets.

In his new role with Reproflex3, Pangikal will spearhead the expansion of the company’s prepress and flexo platemaking solutions across labels, flexibles and corrugated packaging.

Pangikal will focus on strengthening local capability, developing teams and supporting the transfer of the company’s advanced workflows and technology throughout India and Southeast Asia.

Pangikal said, “This is an exciting opportunity to bring together people, processes and technology in a very dynamic and competitive market. Reproflex3 is bringing something genuinely new to the Indian flexo sector, and I want to build on that momentum. My goal is to grow the business well beyond India by creating long-term partnerships based on collaboration and transparency.”

Andrew Hewitson, CEO of Reproflex3, said, “The Indian flexographic printing market is evolving fast with investment in CI flexo presses growing year-on-year, just as we expected.

“Having the right mix of western and Indian culture inside R3 India is critical for the transfer of our advanced prepress technologies and having Aditya with us in our growth journey is a great fit. We look forward to supporting him as he delivers the R3 workflow. Welcome onboard, Aditya.”

R3 India is part of the UK-headquartered Reproflex3 Group, a multinational prepress specialist supplying advanced workflows and high-performance flexographic plates to printers and brand owners worldwide. The company develops packaging mock-ups, manages artwork and supports customers across all major packaging sectors.
