On 3 April 2024, Miracle Group, headquartered in Jaipur, announced the acquisition of two companies. The first acquisition is Sattik Packaging, a carton producer situated in Iswaripur, slightly north of Kolkata in West Bengal. The second acquisition is Shivalik Container, positioned in Khairi, just 50 kilometers east of Ambala in Himachal Pradesh. Miracle Group has opted not to disclose the financial details of either deal or the anticipated capacity increase resulting from these acquisitions. Miracle Group stands as a prominent provider of packaging solutions, manufacturing a diverse array of products such as cartons, flexible packaging, labels, plastic cans, and corrugated boxes.

The acquisitions signify a notable milestone in Miracle Group’s expansion strategy, highlighting its dedication to bolstering its market footprint and service provisions within the packaging sector. They serve as a testament to Miracle Group’s vision of establishing a formidable national presence in the packaging industry, thereby fortifying its capacity to deliver unmatched value to its clientele.

Sattik Packaging is known for its proficiency in producing corrugated boxes, monocartons, and rigid packaging solutions, whereas Shivalik Container excels in corrugated packaging. Miracle Group asserts that the addition of Sattik Packaging and Shivalik Container will empower Miracle to provide a broader spectrum of products, reinforcing its stature as a premier packaging solutions provider in India. Miracle already has plants in multiple states, including Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Punjab, with five packaging facilities located within Jaipur itself.

Sattik Packaging currently has a monthly production capacity of 1500 metric tonnes for corrugated boxes and 2.5 lakh rigid boxes. The leadership teams of both Sattik Packaging and Shivalik Container will retain their pivotal roles within the expanded Miracle packaging organization.

“The well-established market presence of Sattik Packaging and Shivalik Container in West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh, respectively, coupled with their industry expertise, makes them ideal additions to our growth strategy. This acquisition not only enhances our product portfolio but also serves as a stepping stone toward our commitment to delivering complete packaging solutions across India. We are delighted to welcome them into the Miracle family,” said Hemendra Agarwal, the managing director of the Miracle Group.

“Miracle’s research and development capabilities, technical expertise, aggression, and commitment to customers will play a pivotal role in advancing the packaging space in this region and bringing our products to a wider audience,” said Sanjay Saha from Sattik Packaging and Girish Sardhana from Shivalik Container.
