-

IMCD Group, a global distributor and formulator of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has participated in K 2025 in Hall 6, Stand D28, showcasing its latest innovations aimed at driving sustainability and collaboration across the plastics and composites industries.

At the event, IMCD Advanced Materials will present new ideas and materials developed in partnership with leading global producers to support safer and more sustainable solutions. The company’s expert teams, active across 23 end markets including plastics converting, compounding, and composites, will be available for discussions at the Power Up Café – a dedicated space for engaging with visitors and exploring innovation pathways.

IMCD will also unveil its ‘Four Future Briefs,’ a series of insights addressing emerging trends and sustainability challenges across key sectors. The briefs focus on four industries – automotive, film and packaging, wire and cable, and medical and healthcare. In the automotive sector, the theme ‘Building to do more and leave less’ highlights innovations aimed at improving performance while reducing environmental impact. The film and packaging brief, titled ‘Doing better with less, designed for circularity,’ explores material efficiency and recyclability. For the wire and cable industry, ‘The hidden infrastructure that is changing everything’ examines the evolving role of connectivity in modern infrastructure. Lastly, the medical and healthcare brief, ‘The new centre of healthcare is the home,’ reflects on the growing trend of home-based medical solutions and technologies.

In addition, IMCD will share findings from its latest sustainability survey, providing a glimpse into the company’s forward-looking strategies and continued commitment to responsible growth and innovation in the plastics value chain.
