Hunter Luxury unveils travel-inspired Bouclé collection of vanity bag solutions

-

Full-service luxury packaging supplier Hunter Luxury has unveiled its Bouclé collection of stylish travel vanity bags, demonstrating how it can use its design expertise to elevate gift sets and travel bags.

The Bouclé collection – named after the luxurious woven fabric that covers each bag – is dedicated to all things travel and includes a range of features and enhancements inspired by the current trends shaping the worlds of fashion, packaging, and luxury.

The bouclé fabric is made using an intricate pattern of blue-, white-, purple-, and yellow-colored threads, with the color choices inspired by WGSN’s upcoming Colour of the Year selection. The modern colors contrast with the traditional look and texture of the bouclé fabric, a contrast that is accentuated by the zippers and handles made with recycled black PU leather and gold hardware. The interior of each bag is lined with a wipeable dusky purple nylon, color-matched to one of the colored threads making up the boucle fabric pattern on the exterior.

“This collection has been driven by the needs of our customers, who are increasingly requesting travel products,” explained Pippa Bell, head of beauty at Hunter Luxury. “These come from consumer demands and trends. One that really inspired Bouclé is the trend known as ‘bleisure’, which as the name suggests, is a trip that combines business and leisure.

“To meet this demand, bags need to be practical, but they also need to look elegant and act as a keepsake. This collection is our demonstration that shows one way you could meet that brief, combining our market-leading design capabilities and expertise. We hope it provides inspiration for any customers looking to create show-stopping travel bags of their own.”

The Bouclé collection includes a vanity case, a half-moon vanity bag, a dual-pocket vanity bag, a square vanity case, and a train vanity case. Each of the designs is fully customizable with different fabrics, printed patterns, lining, zip material and more, all available to modify each element of the design.

Bouclé is a highly texturized fabric that has been a popular choice for garments since the 1950s. The timeless textile is still a popular choice within haute couture and ready-to-wear collections, lending the Bouclé collection a look that pays tribute to the past, present, and future of design.
