Global packaging manufacturer Korozo Group has strengthened its representation in the DACH region, following the appointment of Alexander Hauberg as sales manager for food flexibles in the region.

Korozo Group is a leading provider of flexible packaging and film products. It operates a robust network of production, sales, and distribution facilities across Europe, as well as serving more than 75 countries worldwide. DACH – Germany, Austria and Switzerland – is a major market for Korozo and its activities in food packaging applications.

To support its activities in the region, Alexander brings a lifetime of enthusiasm and experience in flexible packaging to his new role of sales manager. Alexander’s career commenced more than three decades at chemical company Wolff Walsrode. Following the acquisition of the German company’s packaging activities by Finland’s Wipak in 2001, so began a 22-year-career working in several roles across that business. These positions spanned product and sales management, site management, marketing, and senior management positions at regional and central levels.

In his new role, Alexander will support meat, protein, food and other packaging customers in the DACH region.

On joining Korozo Group, he said, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to use my passion for flexible packaging to the benefit of Korozo and its customers. We already have a strong team in the region and an enviable customer book, but there is always the possibility to do more. With my many years of experience working in the flexible packaging area, combined with the outstanding capabilities of Korozo Group and its forward-looking activities in sustainable packaging, I am confident that we will deliver great success and support to customers in DACH region.”
