Heidelberg concludes successful Expoprint 2026

-

Heidelberg has drawn a positive conclusion from its participation in Expoprint & Converflexo Latin America 2026, held from 24 to 28 March 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil. With an order volume of over 30 million euros generated at the trade show, the company said, the event’s success exceeded expectations. Overall, order intake in the region – and particularly in Brazil – continues to rise, offering significant growth potential for the company.

According to Heidelberg, nearly 80% of the deals closed were with customers from Brazil alone. In addition, printing companies from Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay also demonstrated a willingness to invest. A key growth driver in Brazil, as well as across the entire Latin American region, is packaging printing, with demand continuously fueled by rising prosperity, urbanization, and the trend toward more sustainable, paper-based solutions. Printing companies’ increasing demands for automated, integrated, and efficient production processes resulted in numerous orders for the Heidelberg end-to-end solutions.

The company recorded encouraging demand across its entire portfolio, with particular interest in the Speedmaster XL 106 of the Peak Performance Generation and the Global Bestseller Speedmaster CX 104. In addition, there were orders for the postpress systems from system partner MK Masterwork (Promatrix and Easymatrix) in the packaging sector, as well as several Versafire digital printing systems with accompanying lifecycle and service contracts. Automated production systems and integrated workflows in particular met with a great response and underscore the strong position of Heidelberg as a system integrator in the industry – a clear indicator of the rising demand for industrial and automated end-to-end solutions.

Expoprint, which, with nearly 50,000 visitors, ranks among the most significant events in the printing and packaging industry on the Latin American continent, offered Heidelberg an ideal platform to further tap into the growth region of Latin America.

“Latin America is a strategic growth region for Heidelberg, and we are actively tapping into its potential. Expoprint has impressively demonstrated the high level of trust our customers place in our integrated end-to-end solutions,” said David Schmedding, chief Technology and sales officer at Heidelberg. “We will continue to expand our presence in Brazil and the region to provide optimal support to customers across the entire value chain.”

With a hybrid end-to-end portfolio of offset, flexo, and digital printing systems, as well as a strong sales and service network – over 200 employees in Brazil and Mexico – Heidelberg sees itself as optimally positioned to participate in the promising market growth.

Heidelberg’s next presentation will follow in May 2026 at Expográfica in Mexico, where the company, together with its partner the Marbach Group, will once again showcase integrated solutions for packaging printing.
