[dropcaps style=’2′]At Plastindia 2018, BST eltromat’s main focus was the 100% defect detection platform – iPQ Centre. iPQ Centre is a combination of iPQ Check, iPQ View, iPQ Workflow and iPQ Spectral. “iPQ Centre is a modular system where a customer can pick and choose what he likes – hadrware as well as software. The modules can be integrated and configured depending upon customers’ requirements,” said Khushal Patel, director – sales and marketing, BST eltromat India.[/dropcaps]

The iPQ Center combines numerous quality assurance features on a clearly designed software platform. Its uniform and intuitive control design enables a central access to various quality management features, from 100% defect detection to zoom upto dot-level to the full view of the complete repeat to color measurement, bar-code verification etc. The iPQ-Center can be freely configured and upgraded according to the requirements of the application.

iPQ Check is an intelligent tool for 100% print image inspection using 4K RGB color line-scan cameras throughout the printing format, detecting defects like, ink splashes and streaks. iPQ View is a powerful tool for digital web monitoring in the printing process. A vast variety of standard features and equipment options makes the iPQ View an attractive multi-function tool for quality assurance.iPQ Workflow’s fast and smooth processes allow a higher level of efficiency with perfect results. Functions like, PDF Plate Auditor, Event Logger, Waste Indicator, Quality Assistant, Rewind Navigator enables uninterrupted quality control, reliable error detection, fast error correction, optimized process reliability, reduced waste and complaints, and increased customer satisfaction. iPQ Spectral supports efficiently on complying with default color standards by carrying out an in-line measurement within printing machine. It offers perfect comparability with hand-held off-line devices and in-line spectral measurement system working within XRGA standard and development partnership with X-Rite.

In addition to the iPQ Centre, BST displayed Wintriss, 100% surface inspection system for defect detections on films; register control system ARC_18 for gravure and flexo presses; CLS Pro 600 line guide sensor for high speed slitting machines; web video system POWERScope 5000; electronic viscosi-meter Selevisco 9000 by Selectra.
