Xaar 2002 printhead powers Haotian’s latest label embellishment machine

Leading printhead technology provider Xaar and Chinese packaging and label printing machine specialist, Guangzhou Haotian Machinery Manufacturing, have announced their strategic collaboration at Labelexpo Asia 2023, with the launch of the HTP-220/330 digital label embellishment machine.

Visitors to the exhibition in Shanghai, held on 5-8 December, saw Haotian’s new machine address the growing demand for embellishments in label manufacture. Incorporating Xaar’s 2002 printheads the HTP-220/330 seamlessly handles graphics, foil and embossing in a single process, setting a new standard for user-friendly label printing technology.

Xaar’s innovative technologies such as High Laydown, Sure Flow self-cleaning, and TF Technology ink recirculation made the Xaar 2002 the ideal printhead for Haotian. With up to 720dpi printing resolution, a wide range of drop sizes and large jetting volume of up to 240g/m2, the Xaar 2002 provides unmatched print reliability and boosts the HTP-220/330’s efficiency.

For exceptionally harsh operational environments, Xaar’s Sure Flow technology can provide ultrasonic printhead self-cleaning and maintenance to deliver continuous in-line performance for the very best printhead productivity and improved machine lifespan.

Zeng Baixian, general manager of Haotian, said, “We’re delighted to partner with Xaar. The 2002 printhead provides the reliable performance and versatility our customers need to both boost their production efficiency and print quality. We believe this collaboration will contribute significantly to the growth of the label printing industry.”

Samuel Tam, general manager of Xaar Asia Pacific, added, “Xaar is dedicated to advancing label printing through developing innovative technologies. The collaboration with Haotian is a step forward in our commitment to technological progress and we look forward to advancing label printing with our unique printhead technologies, helping us achieve mutual success.”
