Bericap acquires Embankment Plastics

-

Bericap, a world leader in the development, manufacture and supply of caps and closures, has incorporated its 31st company in its 26th country with the acquisition of Embankment Plastics in Ireland.

Located near Dublin, Embankment Plastics was founded in 1977 and has remained a private business to date. Their primary business has been in the dairy, food and technical closures where they have a strong reputation for product quality, customer service and reliable supply.

With a strong skills base and positive culture, Embankment Plastics represents a great manufacturing base for Bericap to continue to build its business in Ireland which has been growing in recent years. The aim is to combine the comprehensive Bericap product portfolio of plastic and aluminum closure solutions for the beverage, food, liquor and chemical industries with current and new local opportunities and continue to develop the site into another world class Bericap facility providing local service and expertise.

The future Bericap Ireland will become a subsidiary of Bericap UK to enable the benefit of appropriate shared resources whilst maintaining local control. Short term it will continue to trade as Embankment Plastics.
