Worthwell Papers has appointed Zaheer Abbas as the chief executive officer of its Packaging Paper Division, marking a significant leadership addition as the company continues to expand its footprint in sustainable paper packaging solutions.

With over 24 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry, Abbas brings extensive expertise and a strong record of driving business growth, enhancing customer relationships, and delivering high-performance results. His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Worthwell’s mission to provide innovative, reliable, and sustainable paper and paperboard solutions across industries.

Abbas said, “I feel proud to share that I have embarked on a new chapter in my professional journey as the chief executive officer – Packaging Paper Division at Worthwell Papers. Before joining Worthwell, Abbas served as director – sales and marketing at Billerud, where he led sales, marketing and business development for the FMCG food and non-food categories, beverages, and fast food packaging segments. His career also includes leadership roles at Avery Dennison, Mars Chocolates and Tetra Pak India.
