Südpack improves its EcoVadis score

-

Südpack has earned 85 out of 100 points in the 2025 EcoVadis ranking, placing it among the top 5% of companies rated worldwide and securing a gold medal as a result.

From 59 to 63, then 84 in 2024 – and now 85 points, the Südpack Group’s EcoVadis track record reflects the company’s continuous progress in the areas of sustainability and corporate responsibility, a company statement said.

According to the company, the latest award reflects the concrete sustainability goals outlined in the company’s strategy

The sustainability ratings assesses companies worldwide based on their performance in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

In the 2025 ranking, Südpack was recognized for operating an advanced sustainability management system. The company maintained high scores in both the Environment (92 points) and Labor & Human Rights (84 points) categories. However, in the Ethics category, Südpack achieved a significant improvement over the previous year, rising from 72 to 80 points.

Südpack also improved its score in the Sustainable Procurement category – by three points to 80 compared to the previous year.

These assessments, supported by formalized documentation, serve as indicator of a structured CSR risk analysis process. The advantage: If risks are identified through this analysis, targeted measures can be developed – and additional incentive programs for suppliers can be introduced.
