At Paperex 2023, Shenso Graphic Solutions highlighted its extensive range of Fangbang paper bag machinery for V-bottom, Flat-bottom, square-bottom with twisted and/or flat handle or without handles, eCommerce, courier bags and various types of paper bags.
“These machineries are versatile, catering to diverse needs, including those of the cement industry, paper sack bags, and multilayer bags. Additionally, the company emphasized its Reel-to-sheet cutters, with an impressive speed of 300 cuts per minute,” said Rakesh Sodhi of Shenso. Shenso also highlighted its reel-to-sheet cutter machines installed at various customer sites, including paper mills in India.
Furthermore, at the exhibition, Shenso featured its Daya Automatic Paper Embossing machines in sheet-to-sheet and reel-to-reel formats; and Sodhisons – manufacturer of Crosograph Die Cutters and hot foil stampers and other related machinery for the printing and packaging industry. Shenso also represents HPM Paper Guillotine lines.
Shenso is a collaborative effort between Sodhisons and Daya, functioning as a joint venture. Within this partnership, both companies import machinery from China, marketing and selling and providing complete after-sales support under the Shenso brand for KDX laminating machines, rigid box machines, corrugating lines, paper cup and food packaging machines. Sodhi highlighted the exclusive partnership with Fangbang in China, emphasizing Fangbang’s presence with a sprawling 180,000 square meters plant encompassing two of the world’s largest factories.
Addressing the after-sales service of Shenso, Sodhi remarked, “As machine manufacturers, we produce lamination and die cutters domestically in India. With a history spanning over 60 years, our company has a team of over 50 engineers dedicated to after-sales. We have established a comprehensive support service system designed to cater to the needs of our industry effectively and, most importantly, to serve our valued customers.”
Emphasizing Shenso’sUSP, Sodhi said, “Our competitors, also manufacturers in India, have recently ventured into the paper bag machine market. However, our machines distinguish themselves with significantly higher speed and top-notch quality. The global recognition of our machines sets us apart in the industry. While these competitors are in the early stages of their journey, I am confident that as the business landscape in India expands, they too will witness substantial growth in the near future.”
Discussing the market conditions, Sodhi said, “Currently, there is a slight deceleration in the paper bag industry due to the imposition of anti-dumping duties by the US. This is the primary reason for the minor slowdown. However, we already have over 70 machines in operation across India, encompassing fully automatic models with and without handles. Despite the current challenges, the market is poised for significant expansion. The per capita consumption of paper in India is notably low in comparison to other nations such as Western Europe, Japan, and China. I am optimistic that the packaging and paper industry will experience substantial growth in the near future.”
