Label Manufacturers Association of India (LMAI) is the representative body of Indian label industry and continues to organize knowledge and networking opportunities for the benefit of its members.

As label printing and converting is in an evolutionary phase of adopting digital printing while still growing with analogue, LMAI is pleased to organize the 2nd edition of its event titled ‘Digital printing in labels – the way forward’. Primarily, the event is meant for the benefit of ordinary members of LMAI i.e., printer members only. The first edition of this highly successful program was held at ITC Welcome Hotel Chennai in December 2019.

Globally recognized leaders in the field of digital label printing presses will be making presentations on different technologies offered by them. The main sponsors of the event are: Konica Minolta, HP, Domino Printech, Durst Group, Vinsak, and Brotech. These sponsors will also talk about their products at the event. Other supporting sponsors are Avery Dennison, SMI Coated Products, and Pulisi. Special invitees of the event include Nitin Nair, associate vice president – packaging development at Godrej Consumer Products, Sridhar J – head packaging development at Marico Limited, Reetika Parashar – lead packaging development at Proctor and Gamble, and Sukhdev Singh Saini – packaging lead at Colgate Palmolive.

The seminar will be held in the evening of 16 March 2020 followed by dinner and cocktails at ITC Maratha Mumbai. Non-member label printers are requested and invited to become members of LMAI and attend event and other programs organized by the association.
