Printoly, based in Pompano Beach, Florida, has installed a Truepress Jet L350UV to support its growing label production needs. The new press now handles 100% of the company’s label output, work that was previously produced on wide-format equipment. The move marks a significant shift in Rintoly’s production strategy as it transitions fully to dedicated digital label-printing technology.
Printoly, founded in 2023 printing signs, decals and labels using wide-format equipment, has expanded its capabilities with the installation of a Truepress Jet L350UV in March 2025. Since bringing the digital label press online, the company has seen its month-over-month growth rise from 5% to 20%. Printoly now produces tens of thousands of labels per day and completes orders within one to five days, with some customers receiving same-day service.
The Truepress Jet L350UV has provided Printoly with increased production speed, consistent uptime and improved imaging capability. The press uses inkjet heads with four-level grayscale and a 3pL drop size, enabling high-definition output. Screen’s waveform technology, color management and Screening systems contribute to the press operating with more than 90% uptime.
Printoly Co-President Dr. Paul Jackson noted the overall print quality and engineering of the system. “The image quality is strong, with smooth gradients and accurate registration,” he said, adding that the press has also enabled the company to reproduce fine text down to 1.6 points.
The CMYK+W inks configuration has allowed Printoly to create the appearance of special effects such as liquid, brushed steel and shimmer. “I have mastered the color to the point where some of my customers were surprised when I told them that what they were looking at wasn’t actually foil, but a metallic substrate,” said Dr. Jackson.
For Printoly, it would be difficult to name a substrate that hasn’t passed through the Truepress Jet L350UV. The company has a wide selection of BOPP stock including white, metallic, silver, clear, holographic and specialty. For a more classic look, customers can choose labels printed on semigloss, ivory, cream, estate paper, cardstock or pearlescent stock in a variety of shapes and sizes with adhesive that is either removable or permanent.
Dr. Jackson said, “I usually get a call back within five to 30 minutes whenever I have an issue,” said Dr. Jackson. “Plus, it’s directly from a field technician or engineer who knows my press, so the problem is usually solved pretty quickly. There aren’t any barriers to getting help from Screen – no multiple layers of communication, just one call to the right source.”
Printoly serves a wide range of markets including food, beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, health, cosmetics, durables, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, cleaning, medical marijuana, pet and retail. The facility is 2,500 square feet and has the best filtration system in the area. Dr. Jackson said, “Having experience in compounding, herbs and nutrition, I’m used to a pristine workplace. Not only can I provide a higher level of professional insight to the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries, I can comfortably invite those partners into a welcoming facility for a hands-on approach to their label creation on the Truepress Jet L350UV.”
