Comexi’s F2 ML flexo press and laser technology at interpack

At Hall 13 Stand D67, the group will showcase its latest technologies developed that respond to converters market needs and trends in the flexible packaging industry.

Comexi participates in interpack fair after the great success obtained last year in drupa and K trade fairs, where visitors had the opportunity to discover Comexi’s new flexo press F1, Comexi CI8 offset press and gravure press Comexi R2, integrating latest innovations on industry 4.0.

This year, along with these latest solutions, the visitors will have the opportunity to discover for the first time the latest printing machine developed by the group – Comexi F2 ML flexo press, the ideal solution for high volume market, designed to get the best quality at high speeds with large repeats. A flexographic printing press that provides great profitability and stands out for its high degree of versatility maintaining the ergonomics and usability features of all Comexi F2 flexo presses.

Apart from that, visitors will also have the opportunity to deepen into Comexi F1 flexo press, which increase production of at least 25% and is aimed at answering the needs derived from job changeovers of machines with large repetitions. In lamination, attending to new trends and market needs, visitors will be able to talk about different solutions in laminating with and without solvents, like Comexi ML1 and Comexi SL2. These solutions respond the high standards that the market requires as in great productivity and efficiency, valuing especially its ease of use, quick changes and reliability.

Regarding coating, Comexi will explain its technical solutions in heat seal coating, varnishes with barrier properties and cold seal, as well as all applications designed to highlight the added value of the final packaging on the shelf. In this sense, the successful holography technology and cold-foil provided by Comexi Futura are helping costumers to stand out, increasing their productivity and achieving important international awards. “Comexi’s lamination solutions is the fastest growing division in the group, doubling the number of machines sold in the last four years,” says Comexi’s laminating brand manager, Carles Rodríguez.

During the fair, Comexi will be also showing the L20000, a water-based laminating machine specially designed to solve digital printing requests. With its unbeatable time to market, this laminator is another clear example of Comexi’s reinforcement on its commitment to the environment. It is more sustainable and efficient, eliminating the solvent through its water-base lamination, without renouncing to highest performance.

Regarding slitting, visitors will have the chance to know more about Comexi Cingular Laser, the latest 2017 World Packaging Organisation awarded technology, that can be integrated online with its machines and guarantees the best accuracy in drilling applications, selective layer slit, easy-opens, numbering and text creation. Furthermore, visitors will be able to discover Comexi S1 DT slitter that ensures the highest levels of quality and productivity and it can be completed with 100% inspection camera and resealable equipment.
