Mondi to showcases its high-speed inkjet papers at Hunkeler Innovationdays

Mondi is back at Hunkeler Innovationdays, a premier continuous feed and sheetfed technology and networking event. From 24 to 27 February, the global leader in sustainable packaging and paper will be in Lucerne, Switzerland to present its comprehensive portfolio of high-speed inkjet papers.

Optimized for best print performance

Mondi’s high-speed inkjet papers offer an ideal gamut, available in reels or sheets across grammages from 60 to 400 g/m², with various surface treatments. Designed for optimized drying times, particularly in fully treated and pigmented papers, these products enable customers to achieve rich colors, reduce ink consumption, and lower costs. With the Color Copy, DNS, BIO TOP 3 and Nautilus product ranges, Mondi offers one of the industry’s widest range of high-speed inkjet papers in sheets or reels. Color Copy is available with a silk or smooth surface, DNS differentiates with a rough surface. The BIO TOP 3 range is totally chlorine-free, giving the paper a natural white shade and Nautilus completes the portfolio with a selection of recycled papers.

Growing market for high-speed inkjet

Inkjet printing is the fastest-growing print process, with a steady growth rate. According to the latest Smithers report, ‘The Future of Inkjet Printing to 2029’, the inkjet market is projected to grow at an annual rate of 6.6%, reaching a real value of USD 125.9 billion by 2029. Recognizing this significant growth, Mondi remains committed to providing high-quality paper solutions that align with advancing inkjet technology and evolving industry needs. “Mondi continues to drive innovation in inkjet printing, delivering cutting-edge solutions that evolve with market needs while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability,” says Bernhard Cantzler, marketing and sales director at Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper.

Mondi expands Nautilus ProCycle portfolio

The Nautilus ProCycle range is proof of how Mondi ensures high quality while fostering circular economy. Made from 100% post-consumer waste, it now includes 100, 120, 160, 200, and 300 g/m² for sheets, as well as 100 and 120 g/m² for reels. With a whiteness of 135 and a 100 ISO brightness, Nautilus ProCycle meets the specifications of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). It also meets the highest sustainability standards and certifications, including Cradle to Cradle Certified Bronze, Blue Angel, FSCTM and EU Ecolabel. “We take our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy very seriously and want to help support customers conserve resources by using our products,” adds Bernhard.

Mondi at Hunkeler Innovationdays

Mondi, a seasoned exhibitor at Hunkeler Innovationdays, marks its seventh participation this year at booth 202, Hall 1, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the digital printing industry. Committed to providing premium paper solutions, Mondi supports industry leaders with high-quality paper sponsorship, including Nautilus SuperWhite 90 g/m² for HP Indigo, which is showcased at the HP booth for its whiteness, smoothness, and sustainability as a recycled paper. Designed for HP Indigo presses, it delivers a natural, offset look and feel across a wide range of commercial applications, such as notebooks, greeting cards, and posters.
