Shenso (a unit of Sodhisons and Daya), representing Fangbang, showcased a fully automatic square-bottom paper bag-making machine with both twisted rope handle and flat rope handle to achieve round and flat dual-use. Special models can also do up to 300 mm wide bottoms.

The demonstrated machine was booked by Mainetti, Chennai – a 60-year-old company for retail and apparel brands. As per Sundeep, India country head, “Mainetti is a multinational company having their presence in many countries, which drives transformation in supply chains through its Full Circle initiative, focusing on decarbonizing operations and promoting the circular economy to solve the challenge of single-use plastics.”

Another order for a double-track V bottom paper bag machine, a first-of-its-kind installation in India, with a speed upto 1800 bags per minute was also inked during the show.

Jammu-based Impressions Printing & Packaging (a unit of the Amar Ujala Group) invested in KDX automatic dry lamination with special metal coating transfer technology. According to Tanmay Maheshwari, managing director, “We decided to invest in KDX because the machine is equipped with a hot knife cutting system, a Japanese patented heating system, auto sheet size setting with HMI, and a high pile feeder of 1350 mm, allowing us to perform laminating jobs at a speed of 100 mpm with five servos and high levels of cutting accuracy. Additionally, it features the latest coating transfer system, which is essential for film-free packaging.” Three more customers – two based in Delhi NCR and one in Sivakasi- also confirmed their orders for automatic dry lamination.

Shenso also launched a complete line for cold foiling solution with high-speed automatic stop cylinder screen printing machine with a speed of 4000 sph with UV IR Dryer, stacker and cold foilier with step function to save foil. The complete line was picked up by Alankar Lamination, Delhi.

Global Printing and Packaging, Bangalore and HBD Packaging, Noida each picked up high-speed window patching machine which runs upto 20000 cartons per hour and is equipped with 10 servos.

“It was a very rewarding show for us since we could close 9 prestigious orders and meet our old customers, connect with new and introduce our latest state-of-the-art machines which speaks for its precision, speed and performance,” says Rakesh Sodhi and Sonal Sheth.
