Metal Container Manufacturers Association (MCMA) has extended its support to PackPlus, the total packaging, converting and supply chain event taking place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 28-31 August 2019.

Metal Container Manufacturers Association is established to promote trade, commerce and industry in India, in particular connected with metal containers and its allied products like caps, closures, lug caps, components, printed sheets etc. It communicates with respective ministries, government departments, chambers of commerce and other commercial and industrial bodies within or outside India and promotes measures for promotion of the benefits of metal packaging throughout India.

Asia Pacific metal packaging market is expected to grow fastest at a CAGR of 4.30% till 2023. China, Japan, India, and Thailand are the key contributor to the Asia Pacific market. New production technologies coupled with an increasing number of product launches have buoyed the market growth.

With 380 exhibitors already on board and spread across 11 halls, PackPlus is the biggest event in the packaging sector. The show provides many opportunities related to metal containers and its allied products like caps, closures, lug caps, components, printed sheets etc.There will be many opportunities available for micro, small and medium enterprises to source new solutions, enhance product portfolio offerings, build a robust network and enter new markets.

There are several global product launches lined up along with showcase of latest innovations in both packaging and machine automation. Many exhibitors at PackPlus are from the metal packaging sector and offering solutions to the pharmaceutical and chemical; food and beverage, dairy and meat; personal care products.

As MCMA has extended its support to PackPlus, the companies participating through MCMA will get some rebate in participation cost.
