Anuga Select India 2026, co-located with Anuga FoodTec India 2026, will be held in Mumbai from 29 September to 1 October 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, bringing together food and beverage manufacturers, global suppliers, importers, exporters, distributors, retailers, HoReCa professionals and key decision-makers from across the industry. Ahead of the Mumbai editions, a precursor event was held on 3 September 2026, in New Delhi, bringing together key industry stakeholders and setting the stage for the upcoming exhibitions.
Organized by Koelnmesse, Anuga Select India and Anuga FoodTec India 2026 will build on the momentum of the 2025 edition, offering an expanded B2B platform for product discovery, sourcing, networking and cross-border partnerships. The 2025 edition attracted more than 27,000 trade visitors and 380+ exhibitors from 19 countries. The 19th edition will showcase categories including agrifoods, dairy, drinks & hot beverages, fine foods, food service, organic, and sweets & snacks, reflecting the evolving needs and opportunities across India’s food and beverage market.
The precursor event saw participation from senior representatives across government, industry bodies and international trade missions. The line-up included JP Dongre, deputy agricultural marketing advisor and director, Ministry of Food Processing Industries; Amit Lohani, founder and director, Forum of Indian Food Importers; Raghav Jadi, president, All India Food Producers Association; Saswati Bose, secretary, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority; and Pawel Stachowiak, counsellor, trade and economic affairs, European Union, alongside Milind Dixit, managing director – India & SAARC Region, Koelnmesse.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the 2026 edition will feature curated networking and matchmaking opportunities, industry conferences, the Culinary Corner, Retail Walk, CEO roundtables and other experiential programs, designed to connect the entire food ecosystem – from producers and manufacturers to retailers, foodservice operators and buyers – and facilitate conversations around innovation, consumption trends and the future of food.
Milind Dixit, managing director – India & SAARC Region, Koelnmesse, said, “North India represents a significant growth opportunity for India’s food and beverage industry, and our engagement in Delhi is a strategic step towards connecting more closely with this dynamic market. The region’s strong agricultural base, diverse food-processing capabilities, expanding manufacturing ecosystem and growing potential for value-added and export-oriented products make it an important market for both domestic and international businesses.
“Anuga Select India and Anuga FoodTec India provide a platform to bring these businesses closer to global markets, technologies and partners, creating opportunities for sourcing, collaboration and trade. India is rapidly emerging as a market of choice for global food businesses, supported by evolving consumer preferences and increasing demand for organic and value-added products. With organic exports reaching USD 665.97 million in FY2024–25, the opportunity extends beyond domestic consumption to global markets. Through our Delhi engagement, we aim to strengthen these connections and create greater opportunities for businesses across the region, ahead of the upcoming Mumbai editions.”
India’s food, beverage and agriculture landscape is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by rising demand for healthier, convenient and premium products, alongside growing global interest in Indian food offerings. The country’s foodservice market is projected to grow from USD 85.19 billion in 2025 to USD 93.97 billion in 2026, while India’s agricultural exports reached USD 51.91 billion in FY2024–25, registering 6% year-on-year growth. With expanding opportunities across processed foods, organic products, snacks, beverages and value-added agricultural products, India is emerging as an important market for global sourcing, innovation and food trade.
With its international orientation and focus on business outcomes, Anuga Select India and Anuga FoodTec India 2026 are positioned as a meeting ground for companies looking to expand their presence in India, explore new markets, build partnerships and track emerging food and beverage trends.
