Manroland Sheetfed India ends 2025 strong, eyes growth in 2026

-

Manroland Sheetfed India concluded 2025 on a strong note, marking the year as one of sustained growth, strategic expansion, and reinforced customer trust. The year was characterised by significant press installations across the country, the introduction of new technologies and consumables, and a sharper focus on end-to-end print solutions. Together, these developments have positioned the company for an even more dynamic and opportunity-rich 2026.

A defining highlight of 2025 was the series of high-value installations that further strengthened Manroland Sheetfed India’s presence across commercial, packaging, and specialty printing segments. At Replika Press in Sonipat, the successful installation of three Manroland R708 Evolution presses within a span of just two years stood out as a strong endorsement of the brand’s technology, reliability, and after-sales service. This rapid expansion reflected growing confidence among large commercial printers in Manroland’s ability to deliver consistent performance at scale.

In the specialty printing space, the installation of the Manroland R707 PLTTVLV press at Manohar Filament marked an important milestone. The configuration has opened up new possibilities in premium decorative and security printing, enabling customers to address niche, high-value applications with greater precision and flexibility. Meanwhile, Manroland’s post-press expertise was reinforced through the installation of Kolbus equipment at Swapna Printing and Replika Press, underlining the company’s commitment to providing world-class binding and finishing solutions for both high-volume and high-quality production environments.

Looking ahead, momentum from 2025 is already carrying into the new year. The upcoming installation of a Manroland R707 LV Evolution press at Concord Printing in Vadodara is expected to set new benchmarks in automation, productivity, and print quality when it comes on stream in 2026.

Beyond presses, 2025 also saw Manroland Sheetfed India expand its portfolio to strengthen its role as a comprehensive print solutions provider. The introduction of high-performance consumables from Printcom and Druchémie brought premium press maintenance products, blankets, and pressroom chemicals to Indian customers, supporting consistent quality, improved efficiency, and longer press life. At the same time, a focused promotional campaign around rollers from Westland of Germany received an encouraging response from the market, highlighting customer demand for components that offer superior durability, reliable ink transfer, and consistent print results.

Real-world performance continued to validate the strength of Manroland’s technology. At Galaxy Offset in Giloth and Sain Packaging in Sonipat, Roland R700 Evolution presses operated at full capacity throughout the year, establishing themselves as dependable workhorses. At Sain Packaging, the press crossed more than 48 million impressions with an average job length of around 3,700 sheets, while Galaxy Offset recorded over 60 million sheets printed with an average job length of 7,000 sheets. Such performance metrics reinforced the Roland 700 Evolution’s reputation for robustness, productivity, and long-term reliability, offering tangible reassurance to both existing and prospective customers.

Technology expansion was another key theme during the year, with Manroland Sheetfed India introducing advanced solutions from its European partners to address evolving market needs. Kolbus solutions strengthened the company’s offering in binding, case making, and rigid box production, while Zechini equipment catered to the growing demand for premium rigid boxes and luxury packaging. Creasestream systems brought smart creasing and finishing capabilities for higher precision, Busch from Germany added table banding solutions, and Smag from France expanded the company’s footprint into label printing. Together, these launches reinforced Manroland’s position as a technology leader spanning the entire print production chain.

Alongside physical installations and product launches, 2025 also marked a significant shift in Manroland Sheetfed India’s digital and organisational landscape. The opening of a new, modern office provided a stronger foundation to support expanding operations and closer customer interaction. A redesigned website enhanced visibility of products, services, and solutions, while upcoming digital automation for service calls and spare parts requests promises faster, more transparent, and easily trackable customer support. These initiatives reflect a broader commitment to accessible, customer-centric service backed by smarter digital tools.

With strong momentum behind it, Manroland Sheetfed India enters 2026 with confidence and ambition. Three major installations are already confirmed for the second and third quarters of the year, alongside a continued focus on automation, efficiency, and sustainable printing solutions. Deeper collaboration with customers and global technology partners is expected to remain central to the company’s strategy.

Reflecting on the year, Deepak Walia, managing director, said, “Our journey in 2025 reflects the trust our customers place in Manroland’s technology, service, and long-term partnership approach. As we move into 2026, we are excited to bring more innovations, stronger solutions, and higher value to the Indian print industry.”
