At Labelexpo Europe 2023, from 11 to 14 September, Michelman unveiled a groundbreaking product: DigiPrime Vision 9000, the first in a groundbreaking new series of water-based digital print primers specifically formulated for use in the in-line priming units of HP Indigo Digital Presses.
The development of DigiPrime Vision 9000 was a collaborative effort that incorporated valuable insights from press owners and operators. Drawing upon nearly two decades of close partnership and innovative collaboration with HP Indigo, this primer was meticulously formulated to deliver outstanding performance, ease of use, and seamless compatibility, thereby enabling press owners to fully unlock the potential of digital printing technology.
In preparation for its market release, extensive testing was carried out on HP Indigo 6K and 8K Digital Presses. More than 20 press owners participated in concurrent trials spanning several months, confirming that DigiPrime Vision 9000 met the stringent criteria for readiness. Initially tailored for HP Indigo 6K and 8K digital presses, DigiPrime Vision is also in its final stages of development for compatibility with the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press.
DigiPrime Vision 9000 was meticulously engineered to harness the remarkable speed and efficiency of the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press, opening up possibilities for label producers to transition longer print runs from flexo to the digital realm.
This innovative primer streamlines press room management, offering superior runnability and consistent performance. It empowers quick and effortless adaptation to flex capacity to match specific project requirements. With its wide operating window, setup time and configuration changes are minimized, while Michelman’s extensive global distribution network and impressive 48-hour delivery capability ensure that presses remain operational and productive.
