Komori India reports 59 new press installations in FY 2025-26

-

Komori India installed 59 new offset printing presses across India during FY 2025-26, with installations spanning commercial and packaging printing companies in the north, south, west, and east of the country.

The installations comprised models from the company’s Lithrone and Enthrone ranges. Of the 59 units, 43 were for commercial printing and 16 for packaging. The north accounted for the highest number of installations at 33, followed by the south and west with 12 each, of which six in the west were in Gujarat, and the east with two.

The Lithrone GL437, a 37-inch offset press positioned for commercial, packaging, and publishing applications, recorded the highest number of installations among the 59 units. Other models installed included the Lithrone GL740A, Enthrone EG4/529, Enthrone E429, Lithrone GL4/540A, Lithrone GL640A, Lithrone GL240P, Lithrone GL4/529, Lithrone GL729, Lithrone LP 140, and Lithrone GL840A.

The installed base included both new and existing clients of Komori India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Komori Corporation of Japan that has been operating in the country for seven years.

Jun Sudo, president of Komori India, said the results reflected the team’s efforts alongside new capabilities offered by the latest press models. “We have a clear focus on providing sustainable, automated, user-centric, and economical solutions. For instance, our G-Series presses, where ‘G’ stands for green, combine energy-saving technologies and waste-reduction features without compromising on productivity. These are the key factors that make our presses stand apart in the market nowadays.”

Jitender Rohilla, general manager – sales at Komori India, said FY 2025–26 had been a significant period for the company. “This achievement underlines the true value of brand Komori and recognizes the rapid market demand for the latest Komori presses being upgraded with modern features, including automations. We at the team Komori India are really delighted to celebrate this phenomenal achievement.”
