Komori-Chambon boosts capacity with Orléans expansion

-

Komori-Chambon Group has announced the expansion of its Orléans site. Already home to Komori-Chambon Group’s headquarters, the KCube, and its competence center, the site now features a total of 12,000 square meters, including newly dedicated areas for the assembly and testing of the company’s latest generation printing machines.

This expansion, which doubles the site’s footprint, significantly increases KomoriChambon’s production capacity and complements its existing manufacturing site in La Voulte-sur-Rhône, enabling the company to better meet the growing demands of its international customer base.

This industrial development is part of a broader strategic growth plan that has seen Komori-Chambon reinforce its global footprint through two major acquisitions. In 2024, Komori-Chambon Group acquired Bernal, a leading US manufacturer of rotary die tools, enhancing its converting capabilities and establishing a stronger presence in North America.

In 2025, the group completed the acquisition of CPS Canadian Primoflex Systems, a specialist in flexographic printing technologies. CPS has since been rebranded as Komori Primoflex Systems (KPS), further expanding the group’s expertise in web-fed packaging solutions.

These acquisitions position Komori-Chambon Group as a comprehensive solution provider for paperboard converting operations, offering integrated technologies in printing, die-cutting, tooling, and delivery systems. The synergy between Komori-Chambon, Bernal, and KPS will enable the group to deliver tailor-made, high-performance solutions across the entire packaging production line.

“This expansion reflects our industrial growth and long-term commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology with precision, reliability, and customer-focused service,” said Laurent Bince, CEO of Komori-Chambon. “As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to supporting our clients with excellence and agility – today and into the future.”
