Ester Industries, an Indian manufacturer of polyester films and specialty polymers, will participate in the 13th Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit & Exhibition 2026, with a focus on innovations transforming the flexible packaging industry. The exhibition is scheduled to be held on 26–27 August 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The company’s presence at this year’s edition marks its multi-year engagement with the summit, a platform for the flexible packaging industry focused on innovation, sustainability and business dialogue.
Ester Industries will showcase a portfolio of specialty polymer solutions for film manufacturers, including its UCCC (Ultra Clean Crystal Clear) rPET solutions and BOPET film solutions with high PCR content.
The company said the platform provides an opportunity to highlight the recycling solutions offered by ELITe (Ester Loop Infinite Technologies Private Ltd.), a 50:50 joint venture between Ester Industries and Loop Industries.
Speaking on sustainability trends in the industry, Vaibhav Jha, chief executive officer, Ester Industries, said, “The next phase of packaging innovation will be defined by how effectively sustainability and performance can come together. The shift towards recyclable and mono-material structures is creating an opportunity for the films industry to rethink material design, true circularity, barrier performance and functionality at the same time. At Ester, we are focused on developing solutions that enable this transition while meeting the practical performance requirements of converters, brands and end consumers.”
According to the company, Ester Industries is working to strengthen its supply chains and transition towards cleaner energy sources, with raw materials increasingly recovered from existing materials rather than sourced anew. The company said platforms such as the Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit have become venues for manufacturers, converters and brand owners to align on this transition, making this year’s edition relevant for the industry’s sustainability roadmap.
