DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions brought its DuPont Cyrel FAST 1000 TD thermal platemaking system to LOUPE India (formerly Labelexpo), where visitors saw it for the first time at Stand E8 in Hall 10 of the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The company said its participation reflected its continued commitment to helping printers and converters improve productivity, deliver consistent print quality and advance more energy-efficient flexographic plate production.
The FAST 1000 TD forms part of the Cyrel FAST thermal platemaking workflow, which has removed the need for solvent-based plate processing. According to the company, GreenCircle’s independent certification has verified a 20% reduction in energy consumption compared with a traditional solvent-based platemaking workflow.
“Designed with customer needs in mind, the FAST 1000 TD combines ease of operation and maintenance with the process control required for reliable, high-quality plate production,” said Gururaj Kirsur, sales manager for South Asia, DuPont Cyrel. “By streamlining the platemaking workflow, Cyrel FAST technology helps customers bring packaging designs to market faster while reducing the environmental impact associated with conventional processing.
“LOUPE India provides an important opportunity for us to connect with customers and partners across one of the world’s most dynamic packaging markets,” he said. “Showcasing the FAST 1000 TD at the event for the first time will allow visitors to explore how our thermal platemaking technology can help them combine operational efficiency, dependable plate quality and measurable energy savings.
“With sustainability becoming an increasingly important consideration for the industry, we look forward to demonstrating how Cyrel solutions can support our customers’ evolving production needs,” said Kirsur.
