Dhunseri Poly Films orders world’s fastest BOPET line at 700 m/min

-

Dhunseri Poly Films, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dhunseri Ventures, has taken its long-standing partnership with Brückner to a new level by ordering the world’s fastest and first-of-its-kind BOPET film production line. Designed to operate at a constant production speed of 700 metres per minute, the new line will be installed at the company’s Panagarh facility in West Bengal.

Commenting on the investment, CK Dhanuka, chairman, Dhunseri Ventures, said, “We want to be fully prepared for the anticipated growth in our industry. Following the successful start-up of our first BOPET line in 2023, we are excited to continue working closely with Brückner on this new project.”

Johann Kreilinger, head of sales – Middle East, Subcontinent & Africa, Brückner, added, “Together, we are setting a new benchmark with the world’s first BOPET line designed for a production speed of 700 metres per minute – a true milestone for innovation and leadership in the industry.”

This landmark investment represents a significant technological milestone and sends a strong signal from both companies, reinforcing their shared commitment to innovation and excellence in the Indian BOPET market. The new line is expected to set new standards in efficiency and productivity, delivering higher output at lower production costs, and positioning Dhunseri Poly Films as a pioneer in the segment.

The first joint BOPET line at Dhunseri’s Panagarh site has already proven to be a success, featuring Brückner’s advanced technologies such as the multi-gap MDO for high-temperature stretching and the ‘FOK 8.8’ sliding chain track system. These innovations ensure high-speed operation while significantly reducing maintenance costs. With the new line, this success story is set to continue on an even more impressive scale.
