Canon USA has introduced a new full-color label printer, the LG-P800. The LG-P800 is an 8-inch-wide label printing solution designed for businesses that require full-color label production.

The LG-P800 uses a pigment-based ink system and supports media widths from 2 inches to 8.5 inches. It prints at resolutions of up to 1200 × 1200 dpi.

According to Canon, the printer is designed for applications such as product labels, inventory labels, shipping labels, retail labels, and certain food packaging labels. Canon states that the pigment inks are intended to provide durability and help maintain label integrity.

The printer includes a 4.3-inch LCD touch panel and automatic media detection. It also features a Sub-Ink Tank System that allows ink tanks to be replaced while printing continues.

Pricing and availability information of the product is available through authorized Canon partners.

Canon USA is a subsidiary of Canon Inc., which reported approximately USD 29.4 billion in global revenue in 2023 and has ranked among the top five companies for US patents granted for 38 consecutive years, according to the company.
