Klöckner Pentaplast to debut at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026

-

Klöckner Pentaplast (kp), a provider of sustainable packaging solutions, will make its first appearance at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026, showcasing innovations that help food-service businesses meet recyclability targets without compromising on performance.

Taking place on 11-12 February at NEC Birmingham, Klöckner will be in the FPA Food Service zone, at stand H72, presenting its latest food-to-go packaging and catering film solutions.

Visitors will discover Klöckner Infinity, a breakthrough expanded polypropylene (EPP) food-to-go packaging solution, designed to replace banned polystyrene single-use food-service packaging. kp Infinity keeps hot food up to 10°C warmer than alternatives, while remaining cool to the touch. This innovation represents a major step forward for the food-service industry, combining recyclability with superior thermal performance, the company said.

Complementing Klöckner Infinity, Klöckner will also showcase its Klöckner FlexiStretch catering film range, engineered to help professional kitchens reduce food waste while maintaining hygiene and efficiency. The portfolio includes both PVC and recyclable PO options, each designed for easy handling and exceptional performance, using the thinnest gauge possible to minimize plastic use, without sacrificing strength.

Billy Cook, national sales manager for Klöckner’s food packaging division, said, “Packaging Innovations & Empack is the ideal platform to show how Klöckner helps UK businesses tackle real-world challenges – from the EPS ban, to food waste reduction – without sacrificing performance or sustainability. We’re excited to meet visitors at stand H72 and demonstrate practical, proven solutions that support their operations.”

Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026 is expected to bring together more than 450 suppliers in dedicated zones showcasing every stage of the packaging journey – from product innovation and development to processing, automation, and fulfillment.
