Bericap is showcasing a diverse portfolio at Fachpack 2025

-

Bericap will present its broad portfolio of plastic and aluminium closures at Fachpack 2025 (23–25 September 2025, Nuremberg, Hall 6, Stand 151). The company is highlighting solutions that address product protection, ease of handling, sustainability, and compliance with the upcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

Exhibits include lightweight closures with reduced material content, tethered caps for industrial applications, and advanced anti-counterfeiting technologies such as tamper-evident seals, QR code authentication, and lenticular images. Bericap’s multi-stage anti-counterfeiting system allows customers to choose tailored protection levels.

The company is also focusing on sustainability, using recycled materials, developing mono-material designs to aid recycling, and expanding its lightweight closure range. PCR closures are offered for non-food applications, while tethered caps improve recycling efficiency across both beverage and industrial sectors.

Bericap supports customers in meeting PPWR requirements, which take effect in 2030, including packaging weight reduction, recyclability, and Extended Producer Responsibility compliance.

In addition to industrial solutions, Bericap sees growth opportunities in food and pharmaceutical packaging, especially for OTC products such as powders, tablets, capsules, and fruit gums in PET containers. The company also offers a wide range of aluminium roll-on closures for beverages, cooking oils, sauces, and spreads.

“Customers can rely on us for innovative, sustainable, and legally compliant closure solutions,” said Michael Caspers, sales director chemicals.

Fachpack 2025 is expected to host around 1,400 exhibitors and attract tens of thousands of visitors under the key theme ‘Transition in Packaging’.
