Baumer hhs introduces Xmelt fusion melters

-

Baumer hhs has launched Xmelt fusion, its latest generation of melters, combining efficiency, sustainability, and ease of use. Designed under the company’s Rethink. Renew. Recycle. principles, the new series improves resource efficiency in packaging production and end-of-line processing.

The redesigned hot melt tank achieves a melt rate of up to 14 kg per hour with an energy input of just 1.6 kW. Even the compact Basic unit can handle about 90% of packaging applications and can be combined with the Xfeed system for continuous adhesive supply. A Special Volume model rounds out the series, minimizing manual filling.

Xmelt fusion features an intuitive HMI, available with a built-in 3.5” display or an external 7” display. It provides data on adhesive and energy consumption, supports rapid job changeovers, and includes software for optimizing energy use. Maintenance has been simplified with front-access components and proactive service notifications.

The melters feature durable metal housing, flexible configuration with six or eight application heads, and improved insulation for safety and energy efficiency.

Baumer hhs will present the new Xmelt fusion melters at FachPack 2025 in Nuremberg (23–25 September, Hall 2-533).
