Janus International, a leading provider of packaging and labeling solutions in India, has boosted its printer fleet with the new HP Indigo 6900 digital press. With the HP Indigo 6900, Janus International can print a variety of packaging options at any run-length. At the same time, variable data printing helps the company personalize packaging as well as incorporate security features.

Janus International provides printing solutions to a range of industries, including the alcohol beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors. The company has relied on the print quality of HP Indigo for more than 11 years.

Today, the HP Indigo is allowing Janus to offer customers options such as shrink sleeves, cartons, pouches and in-mould labels. The upgrade has also enhanced Janus’ capabilities to address the requirements of a wider variety of brands, including small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients, for fast short-run production and packaging.

“Conventional printing processes can be prohibitively expensive for brands with low-volume orders – a real issue if you’re a small business or cash-strapped start-up,” says Denver Annunciation, director, Janus International. “The HP Indigo 6900 Digital Press allows us to meet our SME clients’ needs without the constraints of minimum-order quantities.” This approach also means Janus’ customers benefit from a quicker turnaround. “Digital printing is the future and HP Indigo sure is playing its part in making it a great one,” Annunciation says.

In business for over 25 years, Janus International is a family-owned and operated company founded by Joe Annunciation in India. Second-generation leader Denver Annunciation took the decision to move into digital printing in 2009, driving business by adopting the latest printing industry technology.
