AVT to showcase latest innovations in print inspection at Labelexpo Asia

-

AVT (Advanced Vision Technology), a global leader in print inspection solutions, will demonstrate its latest technologies when the company attends its first Labelexpo Asia event since becoming a standalone business next month.

Partnering with narrow web printing and finishing machine manufacturer Brotech, AVT will showcase its Helios 100% print inspection system on both a printing press and a rewinder at the event, as well as giving live demonstrations of its advanced SpectraLab XF solution, which delivers in-line spectral color measurement and monitoring.

Guy Yogev, VP of marketing and product for AVT, said visitors attending the event at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 2-5 December 2025 will discover how AVT continues to set the quality standard for the industry. “AVT Helios is a market-proven, automatic 100% inspection solution that ensures quality in labels and narrow web printing by identifying defects instantly on labels or packages, minimizing waste and enhancing overall performance,” he said.

“With our installation at the Brotech stand, we will demonstrate to Labelexpo Asia visitors how AVT Helios auto-detects various defects, such as challenging smallest print defects, color variations, mis-registration, barcodes and more. We’ll also showcase the latest advanced varnish defect detection, offering superior and complete inline quality assurance,” he said.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to discover how easily AVT solutions can be installed on presses, rewinders, and other finishing equipment, supporting a wide range of machines, speeds, widths, and technologies,” added Guy. “And as this is our first Labelexpo Asia as an independent company, it is also an ideal opportunity for customers and partners to meet with members of our senior team, including our APAC sales manager, our chief product marketing manager and our president for EMEA & APAC.”

Alongside its in-line print inspection systems, the AVT team will also be using the Shanghai event to demonstrate its latest advancements in color measurement and inspection, which together reflect the company’s commitment to delivering a full-spectrum solution for print quality assurance.

“AVT SpectraLab XF is the leading in-line spectral solution in terms of color accuracy, correlation, automation, connectivity and reporting,” said Guy. “Not only does it ensure brand color consistency, but it also provides full color visibility and alerts in make ready and run time at any production speed. Each of our innovative solutions complement each other to create a unified ecosystem of control, precision, and performance.”

At the forefront of print inspection since 1992, AVT has helped printers worldwide achieve unparalleled quality and efficiency for more than 30 years. With a portfolio that spans inspection, color accuracy, and workflow automation, AVT continues to lead the industry in delivering scalable, data-driven solutions for labels and packaging.

“Our mission at AVT has always been to simplify complexity and elevate quality through intelligent automation,” said Guy. “We look forward to meeting visitors at Labelexpo Asia to underline the value AVT delivers in terms of quality, precision and productivity.”
