Chinaplas 2025 concluded successfully on 18 April 2025 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an), PR China, marking a significant milestone for the global plastics and rubber industries. Spanning over 380,000 sqm, the four-day exhibition hosted more than 4,616 exhibitors and welcomed 281,206 professional visitors.

This year’s event brought together participants from 40 countries and regions, with visitors representing over 170 nations. Notably, attendance from overseas and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions surged to 68,542 – accounting for 24.37% of total visitors – reflecting a remarkable 141.10% increase compared to Chinaplas 2023 in Shenzhen.

“In the face of uncertainty brought by economic slowdown around the world, the success of Chinaplas reflects the resilience and vitality of plastics and rubber supply chain. The trade fair promoted both local and foreign trade partnerships, injecting new impetus and developing a more prosperous prospect of the plastics and rubber industries than ever,” said Ada Leung, general manager, Adsale Exhibition Services, the show’s organizer.

With the theme ‘Transformation, Collaboration, Sustainability,’ Chinaplas 2025 focused on four strategic areas – Circular Economy, Digitalization, Innovative Materials, and High-end Technology, Made in China. More than 120 debut technologies, over 3,800 machinery exhibits, and innovative solutions from 1,600+ raw material suppliers were on display. Exhibits included cutting-edge injection molding systems, AI-powered visual inspection equipment, bio-based materials, and high-performance flame retardants. Innovations in sectors like humanoid robotics and the low-altitude economy showcased materials such as PEEK and PPA for lighter, more durable applications – signaling a shift towards high-end, intelligent, and sustainable industry solutions.

Over 20 concurrent events, including the Sustainable Plastic Packaging Forum and SciXplore Forum, drew strong interest from professionals and industry leaders. These sessions facilitated knowledge exchange and accelerated the transformation of technological achievements into practical applications, providing strategic direction for future development.

The exhibition earned high praise from both exhibitors and visitors for its scale, business opportunities, and innovation-driven focus.
