At IndiaCorr Expo 2017, 14 to 16 September, APL Machinery promoted it’s sister company Smart Printech Solutions (SPS). The company shared a joint stand with SPS’s partners Nantai Precise Machinery and Asahi Seiko at the exhibition. “SPS is our new company which deals in cutting-edge solutions for packaging,” said CP Paul, director of SPS. “We are the sole agent of Nantai and Asahi in South Asia. We have been associated with them since last three years, but this is the first time we are exhibiting together in an Indian exhibition.”

NanTai provides high-quality automatic printing presses, automatic folder gluers, diecutting machines and high-quality services. Nantai cooperated with Asahi and formed a new company in the summer of 2004, focused on developing and manufacturing high-end automatic packaging machinery in order to serve global customers.

“We have sold two SPS machines to Prem Industries in Ghaziabad and Infinity Advertising in Faridabad recently. A few more are in the pipeline,” said Paul. In India, SPS will sell flexo printers, inline flatbed diecutters, automatic inline folder gluers and automatic flatbed diecutters for flexo and offset of its partner company.

Speaking about the corrugated industry, Paul said, “Corrugated is a growing industry. There are challenges of course, but the industry has always managed to come out of any crisis situation.”
