At Labelexpo Europe 2023, Stand 7A14, Acme Rolltech unveiled its cutting-edge engraving technology, Advanced Channel Engravings (ACE), alongside a range of specialized products. Among these offerings are ATAC, known as Acme Tactile, designed for achieving screen-type raised effects, and AHDW, which stands for Acme High-Density White, tailored specifically for impeccable printing of solids and text matter in opaque white.

Acme Rolltech is returning to Labelexpo Brussels for the second time, aiming to replicate the success of its previous appearance with another outstanding show. “We introduced our unique ATAC roll, known as ACME TActile, at Labelexpo Brussels 2019, which garnered enthusiastic praise from our customers. Over the last four years, we have accomplished the sale of more than 200 ATAC rolls in the market. Thanks to our cutting-edge engraving technology, we have reached new heights in achieving exceptional results compared to the original ATAC. Consequently, we are thrilled to announce the debut of ATAC-2.0 at Labelexpo 2023,” said Sandeep Sharma, director, Acme Rolltech.

“Acme High-Density White (AHDW) roll is designed for single-pass high-opacity white ink printing, delivering exceptional deposition and a seamless flow of white ink. When using conventional Anilox rolls, customers often encounter challenges in achieving the desired opacity, leading to the need for dual stations for white ink. With our AHDW Anilox, we offer superior opacity compared to other Anilox options,” he explains.

“ATAC provides the highest release of lacquers and varnishes in flexo printing. Despite being launched just two years ago, it has quickly gained significant traction in the market, particularly among customers seeking raised effects akin to screen printing,” Sharma added.

Established in 2018, Acme Rolltech stands as India’s leading producer of ceramic anilox rolls and anilox sleeves, marking a pioneering presence in the industry. Serving diverse market sectors such as labels, wide-web flexo, CI flexo, offset coating, specialty coatings, and film coating.

Optimistic about the company’s growth, Sharma remarked, “Back in 2019, during our participation in Labelexpo Brussels, we hadn’t ventured into the export market. Today, I am pleased to announce that we are successfully exporting to over 20 countries and have established partnerships with agents in more than 10 nations. During this Labelexpo, we are actively seeking additional agent partners in various regions around the world.”

The pivotal role in Acme Rolltech’s growth and expansion is attributed to its cutting-edge plant, equipped with advanced machinery. Situated near Ahmedabad, this facility spans an extensive 88,000 square feet of land, with a shop floor area of approximately 20,000 square feet. Following significant investments in new machinery, Acme Rolltech has successfully doubled its production capacity to approximately 450 rolls/sleeves per month. Furthermore, the plant is capable of manufacturing rolls and sleeves measuring up to 4,500 mm in size.
