UFlex, India’s largest multinational flexible packaging and solutions company, has partnered with the PHD Chamber of Commerce for the Global Sustainability Summit 2024, hosted at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi on 13 September 2024. The summit is dedicated to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by integrating sustainability into their business models in alignment with the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs).

The Global Sustainability Summit 2024 highlighted innovative strategies, technologies, and practices that enhance economic growth while promoting environmental sustainability. This marquee event provided a platform for MSMEs to connect with global markets and explore investment opportunities that support their sustainable development.

Jeevaraj Pillai, director – sustainability, UFlex, addressed ‘Integrating Corporate Social Responsibility into core business strategies.’ In his session, Pillai emphasized the critical role of sustainability in modern business practices. He said, “Integrating corporate social responsibility into core business strategies is critical for forward-thinking enterprises. Businesses should align their operations with environmental and social goals to drive long-term success and create a positive impact.”

Our partnership with PHDCCI reflects our dedication to supporting MSMEs in transitioning toward more sustainable business practices. The summit featured discussions on emerging technologies and best practices in sustainability, offering valuable insights on incorporating these into their business models.

Notable industry speakers included experts from various fields, such as the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, SIDBI, IOCL, Suzlon Group, Deloitte and others.
