The Rubber Street at K 2025

-

From 8 to 15 October 2025, K in Düsseldorf will once again be the central meeting point for the global plastics and rubber industry. And the Rubber Street in Hall 6 will once again be a hotspot for all visitors interested in elastomer innovations. This year, it will be organised jointly by the wdk (German Rubber Manufacturers Association) and Messe Düsseldorf.

“We are delighted that Messe Düsseldorf is showing a clear commitment to rubber and elastomers at K and is giving Rubber Street 2025 a prominent place in the trade fair programme. This is a strong signal for our entire industry and for visitors who want to find out about innovations in the elastomer sector at the trade fair,” emphasizes Boris Engelhardt, managing director of the wdk.

A street for rubber and TPE

In line with the growth of the material group of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), the profile of exhibitors on Rubber Street has changed over the years. Volker Krings, managing director of the TPE Association within the wdk, says, “At the wdk, we see thermoplastic elastomers as an ideal complement to the range of cross-linkable elastomers. At Rubber Street, exhibitors present innovations from both worlds – and at the highest technological level. And who knows? Maybe Rubber Street will one day be officially renamed in Rubber & TPE Street!”

Fully booked and with record participation

With a total of 19 main and sub-exhibitors, the 500 square metre special area in Hall 6 is completely booked out. The exhibitors’ portfolio reflects the entire elastomer value chain – suppliers of raw materials, rubber and TPE compounders are represented here, as are elastomer processors, scientific institutes, networks and the recycling sector.

The exhibitors at Rubber Street 2025 are: Allod Werkstoff, the AZuR Network with eight partners, Ekochem, Gummiwerk Kraiburg, Jiangyin Hetron Elastomer New Material Technology, MOL Gummiverarbeitung, Kraiburg TPE, Kraiburg Walzenfertigung, Ravago Petrokimya Üretim, SFC Solutions und Synthos Schkopau.

Circular economy? We go for it!

At K 2025, for the first time, a flooring system made from recycled tyre rubber will be laid on Rubber Street. A puzzle click system enables an easy installation and prevents the soft mats from slipping apart. Not only are they versatile and easy to clean, but they also offer relaxation and comfort for the weary feet of exhibitors and visitors. Unlike conventional disposable exhibition flooring, the durable mats can be used multiple times and completely recycled at the end of their life cycle, optimising the carbon footprint of exhibition stand builders and exhibitors alike. The innovative flooring comes from MRH Mülsen, a partner company of the New Life initiative, which is also exhibiting at the AZuR network stand.
