Secondly, the market is fiercely competitive, with domestic and international players vying for market share. Additionally, infrastructure and logistical challenges can affect distribution and delivery timelines. To overcome these hurdles, we plan to invest in a robust supply chain network and partner with local logistics firms.”

According to Malhotra, the relentless march of technology continues to wield a significant impact on the testing equipment industry, with a particular focus on QC equipment designed for packaging, where significant transformations are underway. “Advanced sensors and data analytics have revolutionized our ability to monitor and control the quality of packaging materials and processes. Smart sensors can detect minuscule defects or variations in packaging materials, providing real-time data for quality assessment, enhancing precision, and supporting predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and costs,” says Malhotra.

In parallel, automation and robotics have played a pivotal role in streamlining the testing process. Automated packaging inspection systems can perform tasks such as seal integrity testing and label verification at speeds and accuracies unattainable by manual methods, improving efficiency and ensuring consistent quality. Furthermore, the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms allows for more intelligent and adaptive QC systems. These technologies can learn from historical data and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards, reducing human intervention and errors. Finally, cloud-based solutions enable remote monitoring and data access, fostering global collaboration and providing invaluable insights for continuous improvement.
