TemperPack increases green cell foam manufacturing capacity

-

TemperPack has expanded its manufacturing capabilities for its green cell foam insulation products by relocating and upgrading its production facility in Michigan. The company moved its green cell foam manufacturing operations from Holt, Michigan, to a new, larger facility in Lansing. The new plant covers approximately 135,000 square feet, providing about 60% more manufacturing space than the previous site. The expanded facility includes upgraded production equipment, enhanced information technology systems, and additional shipping and receiving docks to improve logistics and operational flow.

The Lansing location is strategically situated near major interstate routes, which TemperPack said will improve access for freight carriers and support more efficient distribution for customers. According to the company, the increased space and upgraded infrastructure are intended to help meet growing demand for green cell foam, a plant-based, certified compostable insulation material designed to serve as an alternative to traditional polystyrene foam insulators.

TemperPack’s chief operating officer stated that expanding the Michigan operations strengthens the company’s manufacturing and service capabilities, enabling it to deliver greater efficiency, speed and reliability to its customer base. The expanded production capacity supports TemperPack’s broader mission of providing sustainable insulation solutions for cold chain packaging needs.

TemperPack is a sustainable thermal packaging company that develops and manufactures insulated packaging products used in temperature-sensitive supply chains. The expansion reflects the company’s ongoing investment in production infrastructure to support market demand for environmentally friendly packaging materials.
