TCPL Packaging expands operations with new plant in Vengal, Chennai

-

TCPL Packaging, headquartered in Mumbai, has inaugurated a new greenfield plant in Vengal, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This strategic move aims to enhance the company’s capabilities in producing paperboard cartons and improving logistical efficiencies. The plant will play a key role in meeting the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions while enabling faster deliveries.

With this expansion, TCPL strengthens its presence across India, adding to its existing plants in Silvassa, Haridwar, Goa, Greater Noida, and Assam. The company specializes in folding cartons, litho-lamination, plastic cartons, blister packs, and shelf-ready packaging.

Managing director Saket Kanoria highlighted the importance of the Chennai plant, stating, “The commissioning of our Chennai greenfield facility marks a key milestone in our growth journey. This expansion augments our ability to serve customers in a high-potential market while supporting our long-term vision for scalability and industry leadership. The new plant will drive operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and further strengthen our position in the sustainable packaging industry.”

In a related development, TCPL Packaging recently acquired full ownership of Creative Offset Printers (COPPL), further strengthening its market presence and operational synergy within the packaging industry.

This initiative aligns with TCPL Packaging’s long-term growth strategy and commitment to innovation in sustainable packaging.
