Taarget Papers expands portfolio with gKraft

-

Mumbai-based Taarget Papers, a group company of Enkey Enterprise and an importer, stockist and distributor of speciality papers, has launched gKraft by The Navigator Company Portugal, a kraft paper developed for the evolving requirements of the packaging industry. The product is available across India, offering converters and brands a sustainable, high-strength option for packaging applications that require both performance and visual appeal. The launch comes as the industry shifts toward eco-conscious materials while maintaining efficiency and quality.

gKraft is manufactured using 100% virgin fibers, ensuring consistency, strength and cleanliness, which are critical for high-speed packaging lines and advanced converting processes. It is designed to support a range of coatings, laminations and printing technologies, offering stable runnability and uniform surface properties. Its optimized fiber structure enhances durability while reducing the carbon footprint compared to conventional alternatives, aligning with sustainability goals and brand owner expectations.

“gKraft is not just a product – it’s a strategic shift toward smarter, more responsible packaging,” said Pratik Gandhi, director at Taarget Papers. “We identified a clear gap in the market for a paper that combines strength, versatility, and sustainability. With gKraft, we are empowering converters and brands to elevate their packaging while staying aligned with environmental priorities.”

Amid increasing regulatory pressure and demand for sustainable packaging, the need for high-quality kraft solutions is growing. “gKraft is designed to address this requirement, offering strength for flexible packaging applications, compatibility with a range of coating and printing processes, consistent quality, and reduced environmental impact through optimized use of virgin fibers. Our robust distribution network ensures seamless availability and technical support across India, making gKraft a reliable partner for converters and packaging innovators,” Gandhi added.

“gKraft delivers the balance we have been looking for – strength, printability, and sustainability in one solution,” said a leading packaging converter partner of Taarget Papers. “It integrates effortlessly into our operations while enhancing the final output quality.”
