Apex International invests in DotScope technology

-

Apex International has equipped five of its production sites worldwide with DotScope wide-view measuring microscopes from Soprin, in a move aimed at improving quality control of coarse anilox rolls. The investment is intended to strengthen cross-site comparability and standardize quality workflows across the company’s global operations.

The initiative was led by Apex International’s R&D team, which evaluated the new systems against several criteria, including measurement range, resolution, repeatability, reliability, ease of use, and build quality, according to the company.

Soprin develops portable measuring microscopes for the printing industry, with a product range that includes the DotScope mini, DotScope wide view, and DotScope eco models. The company states that its microscopes have been used on production lines worldwide for over 12 years, helping manufacturers monitor processes and manage quality.
