Syntegon has introduced its high-performance SVX series vertical packaging machine to the Indian market. Designed to deliver high productivity within a compact footprint, the SVX series aims to support manufacturers across various industries. The machine is now available to food producers in India, offering advanced performance, flexibility, and future-ready technology.

While other packaging machines were designed for specific applications such as snacks, the SVX series is designed to serve all segments of the food processing industry. Whether confectionery, snacks or frozen products – the SVX series covers a wide range of applications and is therefore suitable for manufacturers who want to take their production line to a whole new level.

Indian manufacturers are often faced with the challenge of processing high volumes in space-limited production environments – often with only partially automated processes. The SVX offers an ideal solution here: with the highest output in the industry of up to 300 bags per minute, the machine has a minimum footprint of just 850 mm (SVX Compact). With the SVX Compact Paired setup, the output can even be doubled. To meet the specific demands of the Indian market, the SVX Duplex is designed to handle small formats and single portions, processing two film lanes on a single machine frame – ideally suited to meet the needs of Indian consumers. The SVX Agile, on the other hand, is particularly designed to handle all common bag styles – from pillow and gusseted bags to premium formats – with widths of up to 400 mm.

As the Indian market continues to evolve, packaging operations are adapting to meet new demands. Syntegon’s SVX series has been developed with a modular design, enabling flexible upgrades in response to changing packaging trends, materials, or format requirements. Manufacturers can begin with a basic configuration and later add functionalities, such as premium bag formats, as their needs grow. This modular approach allows gradual expansion without the need for an entirely new machine, positioning the SVX as a future-ready solution for dynamic market conditions.

In addition, the SVX is engineered for seamless integration and simple operation: a user-friendly HMI speeds up format changes, the hygienic stainless-steel design esures faster cleaning and tool-free access to key components simplifies routine maintenance. This helps reduce downtime and training efforts while increasing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) – a measurable advantage in high-volume environments.

“As a strategic partner for the food industry, we help our clients to remain ahead of the game. The SVX series provides Indian manufacturers with a solution that combines high performance, ease of operation and digitalization in a single machine,” explains Shashikiran, sales director at Syntegon. “Especially in the rapidly growing Indian market, the combination of high output, simple operation and compact design is a true competitive advantage.”

Comprehensive services ensure lasting performance

To ensure maximum uptime and long-term value, the SVX series comes with comprehensive service agreements tailored to individual customer needs – from preventive maintenance and spare parts management to remote diagnostics and expert training. Combined with Syntegon’s cloud-based software Synexio, production teams benefit from real-time monitoring and actionable insights to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime – even in semi-automated or mixed operating environments, as is often the case in India. Whether operating in dry, wet or demanding environments, Indian manufacturers can rely on a robust support system throughout the entire machine lifecycle.
