At Plastindia 2023, Swiss Pac – a global flexible packaging provider – will launch a new line of sustainable packaging solutions made from materials that are both compostable and recyclable, offering a responsible alternative for environmentally conscious consumers. The packaging will be available for various industries, providing a convenient and eco-friendly option for their packaging needs.

The company shared that this packaging is a step forward in its mission to reduce waste and promote sustainability through its innovative packaging solutions. The packaging is reportedly made from materials that are both compostable and recyclable, providing a responsible alternative for environmentally conscious consumers.

Compostable packaging made with plant-made plastic is a breakthrough in the packaging industry. Unlike traditional packaging, which ends up in landfills and contributes to environmental degradation, compostable packaging can be broken down into natural materials at home and through industrial processing, providing a valuable source of fertilizer for plants and soil. Recyclable packaging made out of previously recycled waste, on the other hand, can be processed and transformed into raw materials for the production of new products multiple times.

The new line of sustainable packaging solutions will be available for various industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and many more. The company said that its focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness is not just limited to its packaging solutions – it is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and minimizing its impact on the environment through its operations, supply chain, and product development.
