Balancing protection and efficiency

Storopack’s FOAMplus foam packaging is a high-quality protective packaging solution that adapts to the contours of the product and protects your goods against possible transit damage due to impact shock and vibration. Whether they’re heavy, fragile, or awkward shapes, FOAMplus offers the protection required for your product. Made from expanded polyurethane, the high-quality packaging foam is resistant and robust, and thanks to being lightweight, it reduces transport costs.

With the FOAMplus Bag Packer and Hand Packer foam-dispensing systems, protective foam packaging can be produced directly at the packing station and placed into the carton. As the foam expands, it moulds to the contours of the product and encapsulates it in a highly versatile packaging medium. FOAMplus is available in a range of strengths to suit a product’s weight and fragility. FOAMplus polyurethane foam packaging is an ‘on demand’ packaging solution that, when the two components mix together, will expand up to 250 times their liquid volume, negating the necessity for large storage areas required for pre-fabricated packaging.

FOAMplus Bag Packer – fast and versatile packaging

The FOAMplus Bag Packer system produces foam packaging bags at the press of a button, which adapt specifically to the contours of the packaged goods. Thanks to the tried-and-tested foam-in-bag system, film bags can be filled with foam automatically through regular batch production or as required, directly at the packing station. As it expands and hardens, the foam surrounds the products in the box, securely blocking and bracing and protecting them from shocks. The option to produce foam packaging tubes is just one of its impressive features and guarantees maximum flexibility for all packaging applications.

The powerful FOAMplus Bag Packer boasts extraordinary process speeds, advanced film sealing technology, and connectivity. The user-friendly 10-inch display makes it easier than ever to adjust the size and fill volume of the bag, program bag sequences, and store defined packaging sizes using bar codes. The system is compatible with films measuring between 47 and 60 centimeters in width, allowing the optimal size to be selected based on the dimensions of the product to be packaged. The FOAMplus Bag Packer is also an all-electric system and can be integrated into the packing process without any limitations.

Sustainability and Storopack

Sustainability encompasses many aspects. Whether environmental, economic, or social issues, the underlying principle is the same, i.e. to live in a way that enables future generations to have a life that is just as good as – or even better than – our own.

That’s why they guide our decisions and our day-to-day activities. Storopack is conscious of its responsibilities to its employees, as well as to the environment and society. In 2021, 33% of its in-house manufactured products were made from renewable or recycled materials.
