Sun Chemical to showcase wide range of metal decorating inks at Metpack

Sun Chemical’s metal packaging division will be exhibiting its wide range of metal decorating inks for two-piece and three-piece cans, tubes, monoblocs and special effects at this year’s Metpack exhibition, 2 – 6 May 2017, in Essen, Germany, on Stand 3A39, Hall 3.0.

Under the theme ‘Brighter Ideas for Metal Decorating’, Sun Chemical will showcase its expertise across a number of metal packaging applications for canmakers, converters and brand owners. It will demonstrate its unique ability to be a global solutions provider and its capabilities through specialised metal packaging solutions including its special effects portfolio, brand protection and brand colour management.

On stand 3A39, Hall 3.0, Sun Chemical will demonstrate its commitment to the metal packaging industry by delivering quality, service and innovation through its product families: SunDuo, SunTrio and SunAltec.

SunDuo for two-piece cans provides canmakers with a range of high value, flexible, robust inks that offer high speed press performance and are suitable for printing on steel and aluminium cans in novar and over varnish technology.

Offering both UV and conventional curing, the SunTrio range for three-piece cans is versatile, flexible, cost-effective and highly resilient. It is suitable for use with all types of metal cans and closures, including crowns, drums, aluminium pilfer proof caps, aerosols, food and fish drawn cans.

SunAltec provides customers with a high-quality and high-performance range suitable for monobloc aerosols, monobloc drink bottles and aluminium collapsible tubes. The inks offer excellent performance, superior quality, highest productivity and highest fastness properties.

Sun Chemical will also showcase its range of overt and covert brand protection solutions for metal cans, as well as its colour management solutions.

To create an impact on the shelf and to ensure packaging stands out, Sun Chemical offers a range of special effect inks. At Metpack 2017, Sun Chemical will showcase a host of solutions from its SunInspire range, including: textured inks, glow in the dark and fluorescent, metallic effect and silver inks as well as a combination of matte and gloss solutions.
