PAPERbubble

Sustainable packaging products are the most sought-after packaging material in this era. Organizations are trying to have products that are either eco-friendly or recycled. They also emphasize reusable and more sustainable products.

PAPERbubble

At the beginning of 2022, Storopack launched PAPERbubble, a groundbreaking innovative product that is the perfect replacement for its commercial bubble film. With PAPERbubble the company now offers an innovative and eco-friendly substitute for traditional bubble cushioning. Because the paper sheets are 100% recyclable and made from renewable raw materials, they help reduce the use of primary raw materials and fossil resources, which makes them ideal for companies that value both high-quality protective packaging and sustainability.

In its readers’ poll ‘Logistra best practice: Innovations 2022’, the trade magazine Logistra was looking for the most exciting logistics innovations. In the ‘Packaging and Shipping’ category, Storopack’s PAPERbubble paper cushion convinced most readers in terms of innovative strength and practicality – making PAPERbubble one of the award winners.

Storopack’s PAPERbubble is ideal for wrapping of small to medium products ranging from gifts, ceramics, faucets, handicrafts, glassware, electronics, cosmetics, etc.

PAPERplus Classic and PAPERplus Track

PAPERplus products have been Storopack’s most important offering in sustainable packaging. Not only because it’s paper, thus it’s recyclable, but also because the company has offered recycled paper variants as well, which make the packaging recycled as well as recyclable and also reusable in many cases. This unique feature makes PAPERplus our flagship product category.

PAPERplus Track

PAPERplus Track being the latest advancement in PAPERplus category is a compact machine producing quick and robust packaging with just a touch of a button. PAPERplus Classic being the initial patented technology of paper-based protective packaging has always been a unique product in itself.

Applications of these include cushioning, block and brace and void filling of Pumps, valves, gauges, heavy spare parts, machines and machine parts, precision machine parts, cosmetics, eCommerce and retail.

AIRplus Bio Home Compostable and AIRplus 100% recycled

The new air cushion film fulfills the definitions of bioplastics – it is partly bio-based, using the natural and renewable resource starch, and home compostable. The film is certified by TÜV Austria for home composting and in accordance with the DIN EN 13432 standard.

The other product is a 100% recycled plastic film, which uses recycled plastic pellets to make the film, thus retaining all the goodness and strength of the regular plastic film, but ‘its recycled’.

Applications include void filling in eCommerce packaging, D2C companies, automobile spares division cosmetics packaging, etc.
