Monotech to unveil smart packaging innovations at Labelexpo Europe 2025

-

Monotech Systems, a leading provider of digital printing and packaging solutions, is gearing up to make a significant impact at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place from 16 to 19 September 2025 at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain.

The company will be showcasing advanced solutions from its Tracesci division at Hall 5, Stand E50, which focuses on connected packaging, brand protection, track and trace, and consumer engagement. Visitors can also experience the live demonstrations of two key technologies, including the Tracesci Loop and an innovative product launch, alongside a display of high-quality label samples from the JETSCI KolorSmart+ and Dspark systems.

Global launch of new Tracesci system

In addition to the Loop, Monotech is set to make a world debut with an all-new, fully automated system under its Tracesci brand at the upcoming expo. This new system is designed specifically for converters seeking to elevate their production capabilities with integrated connected packaging, high-speed printing, real-time data capture, as well as advanced verification and security printing. The new system streamlines complex processes into a seamless, automated workflow – delivering efficiency and intelligence.

Tracesci Loop

One of the highlights at the stand will be the Tracesci Loop, a compact tabletop machine purpose-built for variable data printing and code verification on small rolls. Engineered for speed, accuracy, and quality, the system features a print system (available in ½ inch and 1 inch); smart camera-based OCR and code verification; and automatic rejection with alarm integration. The machine has speeds up to 40 meters per minute.

Loop is designed to bring industrial-grade traceability and authentication to short- and mid-run label applications, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, FMCG, and nutraceuticals – all while maintaining a small footprint and a user-friendly interface.

KolorSmart+ and Dspark samples

Monotech will also present printed samples from its flagship digital inkjet label press JETSCI KolorSmart+ and the Dspark digital finishing system. These samples aim to highlight the power of digital printing in delivering short-run, high-quality, and customizable labels for various industries.

Kunal Kothari, Tracesci, said, “Labelexpo Europe continues to be the most strategic platform for us to engage with our global partners. This year, we’re not just showcasing technology – we’re showcasing what’s next in digital print innovation.”
