Sitma introduces automated bagging system

-

Sitma has introduced PackHub, a compact automated bagging system designed to simplify and accelerate order fulfillment operations. As e-commerce volumes continue to grow, manual bagging can quickly become a bottleneck. PackHub helps streamline the process by automating key steps such as bag feeding, orientation, and labeling, while keeping the workflow simple and operator-friendly, the company said.

PackHub offers key advantages like up to 50% reduction in packing time per order, continuous production with up to 500-bag buffer capacity, integrated labeling for consistent identification, compact footprint for easy integration into existing packing areas, and wheeled frame for flexible positioning on the production floor.

By reducing repetitive tasks and improving workflow consistency, PackHub provides a smart and cost-effective step toward packaging automation – helping operations scale efficiently without the complexity of fully automated systems.

“PackHub was developed to offer a practical automation step for operations looking to increase packaging productivity without completely redesigning their workflow,” said Stefano De Marco, chief executive officer at Sitma. “By automating the most repetitive tasks while keeping operator interaction simple and intuitive, PackHub helps companies scale their fulfillment operations efficiently.”

PackHub will be live demonstrated at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany, from 24–26 March 2026, at the Sitma booth in Hall 6, Stand 6C12.
