Silgan Dispensing extends ERA dispensing system

-

Silgan Dispensing launched the ERA platform at Luxe Pack Monaco in 2025, with formats dedicated to facial care and sun care applications (35 mm and 40 mm tube diameters). This fully plastic solution is now being applied to DNA airless systems.

At Paris Packaging Week 2026, ERA expanded its applications by introducing two major extensions.

The first concerns the DNA airless range, one of Silgan’s emblematic products, suitable for facial serums and creams. Available in 30 ml, 40 ml, and 50 ml formats, DNA 35ERA retains its premium aesthetics while meeting future regulatory requirements.

DNA 35ERA combines the key attributes brands expect, within an eco-design approach – smooth and controlled actuation, compatibility with the most demanding formulations, precise dosing, optimal formula protection thanks to airless technology, and recyclability within polyolefin streams.

In addition, the ERA airless design ensures a formula evacuation rate above 95%, helping limit product waste and reduce overall packaging waste, the company claimed.

The second extension adapts ERA to small-capacity cosmetic tubes: 25 mm and 30 mm diameters, intended for liquid makeup and targeted treatments such as eye contour applications.

ERA integrates Silgan Dispensing’s patented LifeCycle technology. This replaces metal springs with plastic equivalents to ensure recyclability.
